Description
To commemorate destroyed forest ecosystems, we placed gravestones with forest community names and a shared date of death on real clear-cut sites, directly onto tree stumps. Where the forest had stood, a forest cemetery emerged. The installation was also brought to a press conference beside Kaarli Church, turning logging volumes from abstract statistics into something physically felt.
