Description
Short-term objectives of the project, ordered by PokerStars, included differentiating poker from casino games, establishing a fresh image for the game as a mind sport and at the same time a glamorous entertainment, popularizing poker and increasing the number of poker players in Estonia, as well as connecting Estonian poker community. Long-term goals included recognition of poker as a sport and differentiating legislation related to poker and casino games. As a result of the campaign, a customer-base of more than 60 000 Estonian players has been created, the number of Estonian players has increased at least three times, and poker has climbed up to be clearly the most popular sport in Estonia.
