The agency’s task was to find a fresh perspective on how to inspire Estonian people to go on vacation or just a weekend trip to the North and explore Finland beyond Helsinki. The solution – we made the recipient part of the ad, not just a spectator and took them to Finland right there and then, using a mirrored ad, taking the consumer on a journey straight from the streets of Tallinn to a canoe trip in the Finnish Lakeland or on an amusement park ride. As a result, the strategically placed mirrored ads were viewed longer than regular outdoor media and surprised passers-by, especially those who tried to take a quick look at themselves in the mirrors.
