When the name of a certain café in Tallinn's Old Town speaks of the 20th century, it makes for a very special starting point when creating the identity graphics. We decided to present the 20th century through its ten greats – one person per each decade. Since we are dealing with a place where intellectuals and literary minds hang out, the hints hidden in the illustrations are not painted in the boldest of colours – of course, everyone will recognise Meri, Päts and Chaplin; but who is that man at his Macintosh having an air of the 80s? And who is that Starman sitting at his table... There's a lot to figure out whilst enjoying your coffee or your cognac. The illustrations are also modular, and each table can be seen as a separate motif or as a big “family postcard”.
