Estonian Nature Tours (ENT) presents at the contest a selection of ads and other campaign-related products which has been prepared during a foreign market-oriented marketing project "Birdwatching and Nature tours in Estonia". In 2011, the campaign spent on the activities nearly € 25,500.
ENT was allocated a grant for marketing by the Enterprise Estonia in August 2008. The marketing project (2008-2011) totals was about 82,600 €. Within three years we have developed web and created client database, compiled and distributed newsletters 4-5 times in a year, bought advertisements to target destination birdwatching and nature magazines (in all 55 times). We have organized three Promotional tours to European tour agencies and journalists and attended biggest bird and ecotourism fair in the world, British Birdfair as an exponent during 2008-2011.
Also, a brochure named "ESTONIA - the heart of European Wildlife" has been completed by team of Estonian Nature Tours. First edition publication date (in order NGO Läänemaa Turism, copyright Tuuli Mann, Marika Mann, Tarvo Valker) was 31.03.2011. Second edition (publication date 20.09.2011, publisher NGO Loodusturismikeskus) is now available also on ENT Webshop!
Marketing literature has proven to be very successful in the world's largest eco-tourism trade show, British Birdfair, as well as other sales activities in Europe. This is by far the best advocacy publication about nature values and conservation in Estonia. The book focuses on the species and habitats that are disappearing or absent elsewhere in Europe. That kind of approach - Why Estonia? - helps Estonians to distinguish themselves from other countries in Europe setting out the the reasons why nature-lovers from around the world should definitely visit Estonia. Although the title is intriguing, the content is fully relevant.
This beautifully designed book is also appropriate as a gift for foreign visitors.
In May 2011, Estonian Nature Tours presented a report about Estonia and company’s contribution to the development of Estonia’s sustainable tourism in the 5th IIPT African Conference: Meeting the Challanges of Climate Change to Tourism in Africa and the Developing World.
Every week, more and more followers join in to our Facebook, Twitter and Blog. The most popular period was last week of December when we gave to our readers a phot-gallery for Christmas.
We avoid agressive advertising as much as possible because we find that nature is the topic that is not compatible with agression.
