The series of illustrations were created for the Estonian Olympic Committee’s campaign for Tokyo Olympic Games. Japanese illustrator MONQ solved an ambitious task by portraying Estonian athletes in Japanese anime style, yet realistic enough to be recognisable. The illustrations capture every athlete’s character in the moment of their dynamic performance.
