We are a small nation. Football is strongly linked to national feelings. We do not have the opportunity to become a major player by money, number of players, or by force in this game. The only way to succeed is through wisdom. Who should be the heraldic animal of Estonian football, a symbol of identity and wise action? We think, that the right answer is hedgehog from Kalevipoja epos, wise helper of the protagonist, who no longer confined to mere advice, but has set itself to attack.
